Rates to be charged according to the Regulation on Professional Fees of Lawyers
According to these statutes different rates may be charged, depending on the type of activity. Within a court claim there exist basically three types of fees that can arise for the following activities:
- Generally the lawyer may require a 1,3 fee (Basic Proceeding Fee) for the activity of collecting information and filing the action,
- Another fee in the amount of 1,2 (Hearing Fee) is charged if the attorney discusses the case before court (filing the applications and/or discussing the case in court with regard to legal and factual aspects),
- An additional 1,0 fee is due in case of a settlement before the court.
Average fees to be charged
As a matter of fact, usually an amount of 2,5 fees as a function of the value of the matter in controversy is due in normal proceedings.
In enforcement proceedings, the lawyer can charge a 0,3 fee for the general activity of collecting information. For further activities all fees as described above may incur.
