Declaration of Enforceability by the German court

Judgments fullfilling all these conditions will be declared enforceable according to sec. 722 ZPO

The court will no additionally review the facts and legal conclusions of the foreign ruling.

Subsequent enforcement according to German enforcement law

After the formal recognition by a German court the foreign judgment must be enforced. There are different types of enforcement according to German enforcement law, which depend on the assets of the debtor. Therefore a thourough investigation and validation of the debtor's assets has to take place in advance.
